Glorious Day!

Yesterday was such a special day! Last night at church, our 8-year-old son Jacob was baptized! He has been wanting to be baptized for over four years. We finally felt the time was right. He looked so cute in his little robe. I kept asking if he was nervous while we waited in the preparation room. He wasn't. But he was excited.

Jacob read the first two verses of Psalm 23, and did a great job! I was in the back taking photos, while the rest of the family watched from the sanctuary. I was so emotional!

It was a special, wonderful event for our family!!! We are so proud of Jacob. He is a sweet, special boy, and such a blessing to us.

After church, my mom took us all out to dinner. Since we didn't have school today, we were able to take our time and enjoy our evening and Chinese food.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

What a precious, precious moment! So excited for sweet Jacob! I'm just sorry that we missed it, but we were rocking babies in the nursery. How wonderful that your mom got to be her for such a special event! Praise be to God!
